Popcorn and Thailand

Those who know me well, know I LOVE popcorn, sweet and salty to be precise. It’s my go -to snack when I don’t want a protein bar (shock horror, this actually happens).

Popcorn is traditionally known to be quite healthy however  some types are laden in fat, don’t get me started about cinema popcorn.  Mike and I always bring (hide) popcorn with us when we’re going to see a film. Slightly off topic but if you haven’t seen Bridget Jones Baby, GO SEE IT ASAP. It’s quite possibly one of the funniest films I’ve ever seen. Proper lol’ing material.

I recently discovered Bio- Synergy Popcorn at a Lorna Jane event a few weeks back and was immediately hooked.  Only 92 calories per pack, not half empty either ( that really drives me mad), high in fibre, gluten-free and vegan. I don’t feel bad if I eat 2 bags at once. They’re very moreish and that’s not down to any nasty additives like MSG, they are 100% natural.

Tonight I’m tucking into a bowl (2 packs) while I make a start organising our itinerary for Thailand.  If you guys have been to Thailand please PLEASE send your “must do” tips my way.  I’m talking places to eat (mostly), see and do. We’re visiting Bangkok, Chang Mai, Koh Pi Pi, Koh Lanta, Phuket and Koh Lipe.
